We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive team at a Primary School in Scunthorpe. As a HLTA, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teachers and students across a range of subjects and age groups. You will lead learning activities, cover lessons, and provide targeted interventions to help all students reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

* Classroom Support: Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across a variety of subjects.

* Lesson Delivery: Lead whole-class sessions or small group work in the absence of a teacher, ensuring high-quality learning continues.

* Intervention Support: Work with individual students or small groups, providing targeted interventions to support academic progress, particularly in literacy and numeracy.

* Behavioural Support: Promote positive behaviour management strategies, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

* Assessment and Feedback: Assist in the assessment of students' work and provide feedback to students to promote their learning.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

* HLTA Qualification (or equivalent experience).

* Previous experience working in a school environment, particularly in a teaching assistant or HLTA role.

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with staff and students.

* Confidence in leading classes and supporting students of varying abilities.

* A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
