An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic, independent, and committed Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse (RGN/RN Adult) to join a brand-new team that will be part of an expansion of surgical and theatre services within the NHS.
As a Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse (RGN/RN Adult) you will have the opportunity to work in a new 20 bed, low risk elective surgery ward that will later include a PACU. The hospital undertakes a wide range of elective surgery, both inpatient and day surgery including: general, vascular, urology, gynaecology, orthopaedics, oral, maxillo facial, ophthalmology, and chronic pain. This expansion will allow more low risk surgery.
This is a great opportunity for a Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse (RGN/RN Adult) to further develop their skills, as post graduate education in wound management, acute pain or palliative care is available.
All new employees have a mentor/ preceptor during the initial stages of their employment. A personalised induction/orientation programme is developed between the new member of staff and the mentor to ensure they can meet the requirements of their job as soon as possible.

Person Specification: NMC Registered First Level Nurse (RGN/RN Adult). Newly qualified nurses are welcome to apply as mentorship and robust preceptorships are available.
