Job Title: Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineer

Location: Gaydon, Warwickshire

Rate: £33.88ph via an Umbrella Company (Inside IR35) or £25.26ph PAYE

Employment Type: Contract (Initially 31/03/2026)

Hours: Standard 40 Hours Per Week

The position is responsible for the engineering integration process for vehicle architectures.

Responsibilities include:

* Design and develop the vehicle technical specifications and attributes across vehicle architectures.

* Lead and resolve complex multifunctional engineering problems.

* Be able to balance competing attributes and requirements to define the optimum engineering solution.

* Analysis of current and future technologies and competitor products to ensure the future competitiveness of our client's products by influencing client's strategies, coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.

* Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

Essential:

* Knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and Cross-functional Vehicle Systems.

* Enthusiasm for vehicles and their development.

* Strong communication skills and ability to interpret technical information.

* Good IT literacy eg. ability to create and manage presentations and spreadsheets.

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

* Previous experience of whole vehicle development and validation.

* Previous experience of problem solving tools, eg. Six sigma methods.

* Previous experience of leading technical issue resolution.
