A leading civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a major water treatment scheme in Birmingham. This is a 6-month contract offering a competitive day rate and the opportunity to work on a high-value infrastructure project.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for all site activities

*

Ensuring works are carried out in line with technical drawings and specifications

*

Supporting quality assurance and maintaining accurate site records

*

Coordinating with the project team, subcontractors, and site management

*

Promoting and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil infrastructure projects

*

Previous work on water treatment or heavy civils schemes preferred

*

Proficient with setting out equipment (Total Station, GPS) and AutoCAD

*

CSCS card required; SMSTS and First Aid desirable

*

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
