With a growing fleet of specialised vessels, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Engine Technician to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our marine assets.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct planned maintenance on main and auxiliary engines, including oil and coolant changes, filter replacements, and inspection of cooling and fuel systems.

*

Use diagnostic tools to identify faults, perform engine servicing, and carry out effective repairs.

*

Strip down, inspect, and rebuild key engine components such as injectors, turbochargers, and cylinder heads.

*

Maintain and repair propulsion systems, hydraulic motors, steering gear, and marine gearboxes.

*

Service and maintain deck equipment including electric winches, fuel pumps, bilge systems, and firefighting gear.

*

Support dry dock operations, major engine overhauls, and assist with Class society inspections when required.

*

Accurately log all maintenance activities in the company's ERP system and support parts procurement and inventory tracking.

*

Provide rapid response to emergency breakdowns or technical issues affecting port and harbour vessels.

Ideal Candidate:

*

Proven experience with marine diesel or hybrid propulsion systems.

*

Strong understanding of hydraulic and mechanical systems.

*

Comfortable working on vessel systems both dockside and during dry docking periods.

*

Familiarity with diagnostic software and maintenance logging systems (e.g., ERP).

*

Flexibility to respond to emergency callouts and vessel breakdowns.

*

Team player with a proactive attitude towards marine safety and equipment reliability
