Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean and Air Export clerk to join their office in Tlbury.

* Two years' experience minimum in export operations, on both airfreight and seafreight.

* Experience completing export documentation, including checking country requirements, and raising Certificates of origin if required.

* Experience in completing customs declarations.

* Experience of CNS and Destin8. Our forwarding software is Multi-freight.

* Strong attention to detail.

* Good communication skills and friendly personality.

* Competent using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.

* Strong and dynamic team player.

* Excellent English and Maths skills.

Job responsibilities and tasks:

* Communicating with customers, hauliers and carriers.

* Arranging bookings with lines and carriers.

* Arranging collections making sure to meet vessel/ flight deadlines.

* Completing customs entries
