About the Role:

We're recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client in the Haydock area. This is a store delivery role, operating on a 5 on, 3 off shift pattern with set start times between 03:00 and 08:00. Each shift is approximately 12 hours long.

You'll be working from Haydock to Warrington and back, performing store deliveries involving cage work and use of tail lifts.

Key Responsibilities:

* Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on store delivery routes

* Load/unload cages and handle physical stock

* Use tail lifts and manual handling equipment

* Maintain accurate delivery paperwork

* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) License

* Minimum 12 months' experience in Class 1 driving

* Good knowledge of UK road laws and regulations

* Physically fit and confident handling cages

* Ability to work early starts and up to 12-hour shifts

* Reliable, punctual, and a good team player

Desirable (but not essential):

* Previous store delivery experience

* Familiarity with tail lifts and cage handling

* Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
