Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Pastoral Support Worker in Doncaster to start ASAP in a supportive secondary school. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about student wellbeing, behaviour support, and pastoral care to make a real difference in young people's lives.

The Role

As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will work closely with the school's pastoral and safeguarding teams to support students with behavioural, social, and emotional needs. You will help promote positive behaviour, improve engagement, and ensure students feel supported in school.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing pastoral support and behaviour guidance to students

Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH)

Delivering targeted interventions to improve attendance and engagement

Working with staff to create a safe, inclusive learning environment

Requirements

Experience working with young people or in a school support role

Strong behaviour management and communication skills

Understanding of safeguarding and student well-being

An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
