About the Role

A well-established and growing UK manufacturer in the cable management systems to the Construction sector and is looking to appoint an Area Sales Manager to cover its customer base across Scotland.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in the construction sector, particularly in the electrical contracting market would be advantageous, who is confident in managing and growing long-term relationships with contractors, distributors, and installers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and grow relationships with existing customers within the territory

* Support electrical wholesalers and contractors with product knowledge, pricing, and project support

* Promote a range of cable management products including tray, trunking, conduit, and accessories

* Identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term relationships

* Track opportunities and report sales activity through CRM tools

* Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions

What You'll Bring:

* Experience in field-based or area sales within the construction or electrical sector

* Strong understanding of the electrical contracting process and product supply chains

* Knowledge of cable management or similar building services products preferred

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

* Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your territory effectively

* Full UK driving licence required
