Job Description:
Seeking a dynamic BH Director as a member of the Executive Team of PATH, Inc., a comprehensive BH and ID Center primarily serving Northeast Philadelphia. Responsible for all behavioral health services provided by the agency with a BH budget of $20 million and ## staff. Reports to the CEO.

Qualifications:

Minimum of a Masters Degree Doctoral Degree preferred in behavioral health discipline. PA Licensed or license eligible psychologist (PhD., PsyD.), clinical social worker (LCSW), professional counselor (LPC) or marriage and family therapist (LMFT).

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Provide ongoing clinical expertise and direction consistent with current literature including evidence based and promising practices.

  2. Routinely review BH literature and new advances in service delivery, recommending changes to existing practices and developing proposals for new programs that effectively meet the needs of individuals served and/or address gaps in existing services.

  3. Prepare proposals to expand BH Services as requested by the President & CEO

  4. Maintain and enforce compliance with all funding and/licensing entities

  5. Hold Program Directors accountable for meeting established productivity standards and other established program goals

  6. Chair PATH’s BH Review Committee

  7. Staff BH Committee of the Board of Directors and coordinate reports or presentations for Board of Directors including the Annual Board Training

  8. Represent PATH at meetings of professional, civic or other interested community groups

  9. Respond to external reports including but not limited to Consumer Satisfaction Team Reports, DBH reports, CBH requests, etc.

  10. Develop SOPs and ensure approved up-to-date SOPs for the Behavioral Health Department

  11. Maintain CARF accreditation in Residential Treatment Program (House A and House B)

  12. Recommend accreditation for other BH programs as indicated and in coordination with PATH’s Systems & Evaluation Department, take required action to obtain accreditation for approved programs

  13. Be available for crises on a 24 hour basis

  14. Hear and make recommendations regarding staff grievances in coordination with HR Department

  15. Assist with the preparation of PATH’s annual report with regard to BH Services in coordination with the Communications Director
