The Company
The company is a small sized Main Contractor - that take on projects of the Education / Social Housing Nature, from interior refurbishment to fitting out of Kitchen & Bathrooms / Repairs & Maintenance / Fire upgrades & Roofing Works.This company has double in size in the last 12 months due to successful tendering and already have a very health pipeline of work for 2026.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Contracts Manager who has a proven record of accomplishment across varied sectors. The opportunity would be for someone to work across several varying sectors including Education / Social Housing. From £50k - £1m value size, The right candidate will be juggling 3-5 projects at anyone time, overseeing projects contractually, with Site Managers reporting in to you, making sure the programme is being met on time.

The project includes -

The contracts will be to deliver refurbishments to the education & Social Housing Sector, covering roofing / Kitchen & Bathrooms, Fire Upgrades, general repairs & maintenance, managing small scale contracts

The Candidate must prove they have run projects from conception to completion across varying sectors. The ability to programme works, and oversee fully operations of multiple sites, whilst liasing with client & project team reporting in to you. This company works very closely with there clients, typically there will be small contracts awarded from 5k upwards where the expectation is that the Contracts Manager will be able to put together small scale fast turn around quotations. The expecation on average is for the CM to turnover around £2m - £3m worth of work annually.

Skills / Experience required:
• Reporting directly to Director, the Contracts Manager will have complete autonomy for all on site activities.
• High level of practical knowledge of relevant employment, Health and Safety and general legislative requirements
• Excellent Leader with strong communication skills.
• Responsible for overall management of the programme.
• Adheres to the highest standards of health and safety.
• Planning and organisational skills
• Proven longevity with previous employers
• Proven track record of managing projects from start to completion.
• Overseeing management of on-site sub-contractors.

Must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
