Salary: £32000 - £36000/annum

You will join this company as a Payroll Manager, managing a team of 3 Payroll Officers, overseeing, and developing the payroll bureau service.

You still want to keep up to speed with the processes so you will still have a small portfolio of clients that you will directly process on a weekly/monthly basis and be backup for the team when required. You will be their direct line and manage their daily workload.

You will have the flexibility of hybrid working, this may suit you to work from home 2 days a week and 3 days in the office after successfully completing a 6 month probationary period.

You will have clear understanding and experience of processing payroll from start to finish which includes, pension, statutory payments and HMRC legislation. Excellent attention to detail is key. Along with the ability to review transactional entries, support the wider finance team by reconciling payroll to the ledgers and assist with any payroll related queries.

If you have worked on system implementation, data cleansing and possess a CIPP qualification this would be advantage as this company is currently looking into implementing a new Payroll system. If you are currently studying towards your payroll qualifications support will be given.
