Control Systems Engineer - Cheshire/Near Runcorn - System Integrator / Process Control - Permanent - £50,000 to £65,000

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join a leading Cheshire based system integrator. Key responsibilities for the Control Systems Engineer:

* Design, configure and develop PLC and SCADA software from scratch.

* Deliver full project lifecycle - from concept through to commissioning.

* Produce detailed specifications and design documentation.

* Test and commission systems safely in operational environments.

* Work on an approximate 85%/15% office-to-site split (regional sites, very occasional overnight staying away)

Requirements for the successful Control Systems Engineer:

* Strong experience in PLC programming and SCADA development.

* Proven ability to deliver projects from start to finish.

* Ideally degree-qualified with 5+ years' relevant experience.

* Previous experience working for a system integrator is highly desirable.

* UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Location & Commute:

The office location is commutable from most of Cheshire, including places such as Manchester, Liverpool, Runcorn, Warrington, Stockport, Widnes, Chester and Northwich.
