Are you an Operations Manager looking to join a small engineering business within the Rolling Stock industry? 

The Opportunity

Ford & Stanley Recruitment are working with the UK's leading specialist in rail vehicle equipment maintenance and overhaul on the search for an Operations Manager to join their team based in Wiltshire. They have a long heritage in the rail industry based on decades of experience and have continuous improvement plans to embrace innovation in both products and business techniques. If you are looking to work for a small business where your ideas will be heard, this role could be for you. Following a recent acquisition by a global rail company, opportunities to grow, develop and learn new skills are the priority following a successful start to 2022.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the Operations Team and have overall responsibility for all back office processes on site. You will work with the production team to develop and support the delivery of the material and production plans to drive improvement in customer satisfaction. Key to this role will be managing compliance to ensure health, safety, quality, environmental, data protection, transport, and other legal or contractual requirements are met.



The Candidate

Operational Management Experience
Manufacturing/ Production Environment 
H&S background ideal with a NEBOSH/ IOSH
Experience of working within a Safety Critical Industry
