The Opportunity: SEN Teacher

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled SEN Teacher to join a valued partner school in South Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to achieve their full potential in a nurturing and inclusive setting.

In this role, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs

*

Work closely with support staff, therapists, and the wider SEN team to implement EHCPs

*

Foster a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment

*

Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to parents and carers

*

Play an active role in whole-school development and SEN strategy

*

Support and guide teaching assistants and other colleagues in best practices for inclusive education

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

*

Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching children with SEN

*

Demonstrates a deep understanding of a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

*

Brings patience, empathy, and creativity to every lesson

*

Possesses excellent communication and behaviour management skills

*

Is resilient, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement

*

Thrives in a team-oriented environment and is passionate about inclusion
