Teaching Personnel are supporting a welcoming mainstream primary school in Blackpool that is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated KS2 Hub Provision. The hub supports pupils with a range of additional needs who benefit from a quieter, structured environment that helps them engage positively with their learning.

The school is looking for a calm, consistent and skilled practitioner who can build strong relationships and provide high‑quality support to pupils with varying SEN needs.

The Role:

Supporting KS2 pupils within a small SEN provision/hub
Providing 1:1 and small‑group support tailored to individual needs
Supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and communication difficulties
Helping children with emotional regulation and behaviour support
Following EHCP targets and personalised plans
Working closely with the SENCO, class teachers and external professionals
Helping maintain a nurturing, safe and inclusive environment for pupils

The Ideal Candidate:

✔ Experience supporting SEN in a school or provision setting is essential
✔ Confident supporting learning, communication and emotional needs
✔ Patient, resilient and consistent
✔ Able to adapt tasks to individual needs and follow tailored plans
✔ Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a supportive team
✔ Passionate about helping children overcome barriers and reach their potential
