International group of companies based in Huddersfield currently has a very unique opportunity for a senior Head of Finance/Financial Controller to join their organisation at an extremely exciting time in the company's history.

Working as the number one in finance you will take a lead role in both the finance and commercial elements of driving future growth and improvement. Your initial duties will involve:

Financial Reporting & General Accounting oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; including consolidated regular management accounts.

*

Cash Flow & Treasury Management monitoring cash flow across multiple entities and jurisdictions.

*

Managing bank relationships and overseeing financial transactions.

*

Strategic Financial Oversight providing support to investment decisions.

*

Overview and management of purchase ledger to ensure timely payment of liabilities and management of sales ledger to ensure tight credit control

*

Coordination with External Advisories acting as one of the key liaisons between investors, auditors and banks.

*

Review and potentially improve internal controls and processes.

*

Oversee the general accounts function assigning duties in line with your assessment of individual skill sets.

*

Monitoring the financial evolution of the Group as it expands

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below experience:

*

CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.

*

Operated as Finance Manager/Financial Controller/Head of Finance in previous positions.

*

Knowledge of manufacturing, retail or property sectors would be advantageous although not essential.

*

Keen to develop and help drive the finance function as the business continues its ambitious growth plans.
