ENVIRONMENT:

TRACK project progress, schedule resources, ensuring the correct QA process is followed, and provide daily reports as the next Embedded Engineer & Coordinator wanted by a leading Automotive Tech company. You will maintain scorecards, monitor git commits and YouTrack tickets, and serve as the primary point of contact for embedded project-related information. The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering with ±3 years work experience in a similar role and you must be proficient with C, Embedded C, YouTrack & Jira.

DUTIES:

• Track and report on project tasks, resource allocation, and progress daily.
• Maintain and update project scorecards.
• Monitor git commits and ensure proper Git Process is followed.
• Monitor and update YouTrack tickets.
• Ensure adherence to the QA process, which includes Regression Testing, ticket testing, and field trials.
• Review test cases (update old test cases and review new ones).
• Debug issues reported in the field and QA.
• Facilitate communication and resolve issues between team members.
• Assist in project planning and scheduling.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications -

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering (BEng).

Experience/Skills -

• 1 - 3 Years of relevant work experience.
• Must know C, Embedded C, Linux helpful.
• Proficiency in using issue tracking systems (e.g., YouTrack, Jira).
• Familiarity with git version control and standard git commit guidelines.
• Understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Valid Driver's License required; personal vehicle preferred.
• Must be a South African citizen.

Advantageous -

• A good technical understanding of Embedded systems, including hardware design.
