A thriving data and analytics advisory firm is looking for an experienced Business Development & Marketing Specialist. This position is a hybrid business development and marketing role. Working as part of a small high performing team, you will be responsible for introducing clients to the firm's offerings, supporting sales across the UK. The team is looking for an enthusiastic candidate who brings talent and ambition to the team.

THE ROLE INCLUDES:

  • Support new business activities across the UK to help drive sales for the firm
  • Identify market opportunities to assist sales strategy development
  • Generate own lead pipeline as well as follow up on Marketing-generated leads
  • Research a prospects business and work in partnership with managers to build a contact strategy
  • Place outbound calls to market to establish rapport and set up meetings
  • Confidently explore a prospects core challenges
  • Build relationships with new clients and contacts to generate demand
  • Deliver an outstanding client engagement experience and take responsibility for marketing the firm's offerings within the data and analytics space
  • Proactively coordinate meetings with prospects
  • Coordinate warm lead hand over of lead generation to Account Managers
  • Prepare and review materials including client reporting, RFPs and sales aids
  • Measure your performance against metrics and targets and seek to overachieve in order to earn bonuses
  • Optimise and continually assess how to drive the function to success
  • Development of existing and new marketing channels
  • Participate in company sponsored events and marketing campaigns designed to stimulate more brand and product awareness
  • Maintain thorough records of correspondence

  • Experience - Experience in client lead generation and marketing of services (e.g outbound sales within software/tech industry, lead generator, recruitment consultants)
