Mayfield Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Social Worker in the Chesterfield area on a temporary basis, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm over a 37 hour week. The role is both challenging and rewarding, offering the opportunity to make a significant positive impace on the lives of children and their families.

You will have a clear understanding of Children in Social Care and must have a minimum of 3 years experience.
Key responsiblities:
Conduct Assessments
Develop Care Plans
Collaboration with Multiple Teams/Agencies
Report writing
Home visits
Facilitator of meetings

Qualifications:
Degree/Masters in Social Work or equivalent
Registration with the HCPC.

To provide emotional support to children and families
Excellent verbal and written communication
Solution orientated
Excellent organisational skills to efficiently manage multiple caseloads and maintain detailed records
Understanding of child development and family dynamics
Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively
Sensitivity and respect for various cultural differences
