WE ARE HIRING FOR A HEAD CHEF

Location: Lancaster
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: 5 days a week (rota-based, optional flexibility)
Salary: £31,250 per annum

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Head Chef to lead a professional kitchen team based in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and capable culinary leader to take full responsibility for kitchen operations and deliver consistently high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
Plan and develop menus that reflect quality and consistency
Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier communications
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Control portion sizes, manage food costs, and reduce waste
Keep kitchen areas clean and equipment well-maintained
Plan staff rotas and manage the kitchen team's schedule
Ensure all dishes are consistently presented to a high standard
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen management role is REQUIRED
