Location: Remote - UK Wide
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 + Excellent Benefits

A leading environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Principal Air Quality Consultant to play a pivotal role in the continued expansion of its UK operations.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious air quality professional to step into a strategic leadership role - combining technical delivery, business development, and team growth - all within a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy.

The Opportunity

As Principal Air Quality Consultant, you'll:

Lead major air quality and dispersion modelling projects across the UK.

Deliver expert input into EIAs and environmental assessments.

Build and nurture strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities.

Develop proposals, bids, and commercial strategies.

Mentor and manage junior consultants as the team expands.

Liaise with regulators, local authorities, and planning teams to ensure successful outcomes.

What We're Looking For

8+ years' experience in air quality consultancy or regulatory work.
Strong technical knowledge of ADMS, AERMOD, and IAQM/EPUK guidance.
Proven track record in business development and client management.
Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or similar.
Chartered status (CEnv / IAQM) desirable.
Excellent communication, leadership, and commercial acumen.
