HR Assistant - Job Type: Full-time

We are seeking an HR Assistant with a passion for people management and a proven track record in employee relations. The successful candidate will be able to handle a full range of HR matters, including disciplinary processes, performance management, and absence cases. This role requires a proactive individual who can build strong relationships and promote an inclusive culture within the organisation.
Day to Day of the role: - Influence and support managers on people management matters, providing advice on investigation and disciplinary processes, performance management, absence, and capability.
- Work closely with various departments in a consultancy role, helping to understand and implement policies and procedures.
- Manage employee relations case work, ensuring conduct aligns with company policy and minimising business risks.
- Handle absence cases, including long-term absence, liaising with third-party practitioners and occupational health to support employees’ return to work.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with managers, employees, and stakeholders.
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the organisation’s culture.
- Devise strategies to optimise colleague engagement and assist managers with engagement survey results and action plans.
- Support managers in implementing training and career development plans.
- Contribute to organisational design, change, and acquisition initiatives.
- Maintain HR systems, handle employee queries promptly, and provide HR KPIs and analytics.
- Partner with managers and team leaders to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
- Act as an ambassador for HR and uphold the organisation’s values and behaviours.
- Assist with special HR projects as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum of two years’ experience as an HR Assistant or in a similar role..
- CIPD Level 5 Qualified or currently studying towards it is desirable.
- Experience of working in a Human Resource Department.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
