Fire Alarm Engineer – Slough

Salary: £42,000 PA + Van + Phone + Fuel Card + Progression

You will cover customers that are based in the Home Counties and on occasions North London.

Monday - Friday - 8am-530pm Full-time, Permanent

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join a growing fire and security company that is based in Marlow near Slough. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding of a range of fire alarm systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS5839 standards.
• Carry out fault-finding, testing, and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems.
• Complete all work to a high standard, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out, materials used, and time spent.
• Participate in the on-call rota when required. 1 in every 3 weeks, you get paid even if you are not called out.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (minimum 3 years + preferred).
• FIA Qualifications and training a advantage
• Systems knowledge GENT , Kentec , Notifier
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Good understanding of BS5839 standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and progress within the company.
