A leading UK supplier of fixings and fasteners is looking to appoint an Internal Key Account Manager to join their team at their Newcastle office. With over £5 million in annual turnover and a diverse customer base across manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, and oil & gas, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a core group of established accounts in a business known for its agility, service, and technical know-how.

You'll be stepping into a highly visible and commercially vital role, managing around 20-25 key accounts. The focus is on providing end-to-end support — from quoting and order processing through to delivery and aftercare — while identifying opportunities to grow and deepen client relationships. You'll work closely with the Sales Director and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and continued success across every touchpoint.

This is a role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats — you'll be a trusted point of contact for clients, a problem-solver internally, and a proactive partner in helping the business deliver on its growth ambitions.

We're looking for a commercially minded individual with a background in internal or technical sales — ideally within engineering, construction products, or industrial supplies. You'll need to be personable, detail-focused, and confident managing both people and processes to deliver consistently high service standards.

What We're Looking For:

Background in internal sales, ideally within engineering or industrial sectors

Excellent relationship-building and account management skills

Strong organisational and communication abilities

Comfortable managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting

A team player with a hands-on, can-do attitude

Salary/Package:

Basic salary: up to £38,000

Annual bonus: 10-15%
