A leading consumer-facing organisation in the UK and Ireland is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to join its Transformation team.
This role sits at the heart of an enterprise-wide transformation agenda, linking strategic intent to operational delivery and embedding a culture of continuous improvement across functions.
What you will do
- Champion Lean, Six Sigma and related continuous improvement approaches across the organisation.
- Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis and redesign workshops to remove waste and improve performance.
- Translate strategic objectives into clear, integrated execution plans and support cross-functional delivery through to embedding and benefits realisation.
- Support governance and performance management, including risk management, value tracking and high-quality reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Enhance the utilisation of portfolio and project management tools, processes, and standards.
- Partner with PMO, Portfolio and Change teams, as well as external partners and suppliers, to drive alignment, engagement and delivery.
- Identify, track and help resolve top-level dependencies across in-flight initiatives, including capacity considerations.
- Provide outside-in perspectives on best practice in operational excellence and transformation delivery.
What you will bring
- Proven experience in operational excellence, transformation or strategy roles, with demonstrable delivery of measurable outcomes.
- Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement methods and tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile).
- Experience designing and executing delivery plans, with sound governance, risk and benefits management.
- Analytical capability, including performance tracking, insight generation and stakeholder-ready reporting.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence across a matrixed environment.
- A hands-on delivery mindset with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and drive practical outcomes.
