Service Care Solutions are working alongside a Local Authority in Leicester who are looking for a SEN Finance Coordinator to join their team on a temporary contract. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: SEN Finance Coordinator
Rate: £22.03 to £23.54 per hour (PAYE exc.) / £23.54 to £26.51 per hour (Umbrella)
Location: Leicester
Working: Hybrid
Contract: 12 months on going

Role Overview:
Support all functions within accounts payable
Expereince within Social Care finance is desirable
Helping and developing existing members within the team
Ensure accuracy of the general ledger through regular reconciliations with business systems (e.g., Oracle, Synergy, Mosaic).
Implement and monitor internal financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and Council policies.
Manage and protect sensitive information securely; report any breaches in line with information security protocols.
Maintain accurate digital and paper records; ensure secure communication of financial data.
Build effective partnerships with service areas, care providers, agencies, and internal teams.
Communicate clearly and promptly with stakeholders via phone, email, post, and visits.
