About the role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for handling keystage 4 children aged 14 to 16 years old who have special education needs in their education journey.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Develop and deliver engaging and individualized lesson plans tailored to the specific needs of your students.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including therapists, support staff, and parents, to create a holistic support system for each student.
  • Utilize your expertise in SEN to create a positive and stimulating learning environment that fosters growth and independence.
  • Be a champion for your students, advocating for their needs and celebrating their achievements.

What we need:

  • QTS/PGCE qualification
  • Experienced handling SEN children
  • Genuine interest in child learning and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service
  • 2 Professional references to validate childcare experience
