I am currently working with a well-established and highly reputable primary school based in Preston. The school are looking to appoint a qualified and experienced year 6 teacher to join them in January 2026.

The role is to start on Monday 5th January and will run right through to July 2026 on a full-time basis.

The school are ideally looking for a candidate who is looking for a leadership role and has a background and a proven track record of leading and delivering SATS. There is also the opportunity to be a subject lead within this role and to work alongside the current SLT.

The school are prepared to pay up to UPS1 for the right candidate from day 1 and the option to pay into your teachers' pension through LCC is also an option.

The ideal candidate must hold QTS and have up to date experience of working in year 6 and delivering SATS results.

The need to want to be a subject lead and involved in SLT is also a must.
