Noble Recruiting are looking for an experienced Thermal Insulation Engineer to join a professional and prestigious company based on the outskirts of Wickford, Essex.

Full time, Permanent position

Salary: £40,000 per annum circa

Please note: Full UK driving Licence and own transport is essential due to the location of the Company.

The role would consist of work on Commercial contracts servicing Clients on a UK Nationwide basis predominantly working locally to Essex/London area focused on Insulations.

You will:

• Design & Specification: Develop thermal insulation solutions for piping, ductwork, equipment and building envelopes to minimize heat loss/gain.
• Technical Analysis: Perform thermal and stress analyses to verify performance, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Installation Oversight: Supervise on-site installation, ensuring materials and methods meet project specifications and quality standards.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects and contractors to integrate insulation systems into overall project designs.
• Material Selection: Choose appropriate insulation products based on thermal performance, environmental conditions and budget constraints.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry codes and standards, ensuring all work follows best practices and legal requirements.

Candidate requirements:

• Valid CSCS certifications
• Proven hands-on experience as an industrial insulator (essential)
• Strong understanding of thermal insulation materials and installation techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to health, safety and environmental regulations
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Minimum BLUE CSCS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
