We are currently working with an education provider in the Lancashire area who are looking for an Agricultural Engineering Lecturer to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. The education provider is a specialist in land-based courses such as Agricultural Engineering, and has a great reputation for offering a high quality level of teaching in this subject area.

The position is a full-time role of 37 hours per week, and would involve the delivery of a variety of Land-based Engineering courses, ranging from level 1 to level 3. You will need to have a sound practical background in agricultural engineering with experience in the operation, overhaul and repair of agricultural and associated machinery (ie. tractors, ploughs, combine harvesters, etc). They are requiring a candidate who has experience of maintaining agricultural vehicles and machinery (including stripping down and rebuilding engines).

The starting salary would be up to a maximum of £31,563 per annum, and you would also get a generous teacher's pension in addition to a holiday allocation of 35 days plus Bank Holidays and closure days.

-Experience of maintaining agricultural/heavy plant machinery
