The Employer
This outstanding employer specialising in a unique approach to business in telecoms is now looking for an additional team member to help look after the needs of their impressive client list, as well as identify and grow their own pipeline. You will be based in modern, bright and well-appointed offices, working as part of an established team. You will need a good mix of skills, including attention to detail, drive, and a good team work ethic. Limitless opportunities exist for the right candidate to build strong relationships with a varied customer base.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for
* Relationship building with key business contacts, customers, suppliers and internal staff
* Responsibility for the full sales cycle from lead generation, negotiations, closing and customer retention, with support from the pre- and post-sales teams
* Representation of the business at exhibitions and networking events
* Responsibility for the communication of new product developments to customer base
* Preparation and issue of quotes and proposals
* Assistance with the design and creation of marketing material and social media presence
* Attendance at industry functions, keeping up to date with the latest technology advancements and utilising your knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's USPs and differentiators
* Uploading information onto the CRM, weekly reporting and working as an integral part of the BD team as a whole
The Person
* An exceptional communicator with a genuine customer focus, initiative and integrity
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Outstanding personal presentation and excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
* Ability to quickly establish a rapport and build long term relationships within your network
* Work with a degree of autonomy, whilst self-motivated and driven by a desire for success for yourself and the team as a whole
* Previous experience and knowledge of the telecoms industry; knowledge and experience of the 8x8 platform is essential
* Hold a full, clean U.K. driving license
This is not a solely desk based position, standard office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 - 5pm but this role will require flexibility to attend networking events, and will require travel across the U.K.
The Salary Benefits
£30-35k with an on target earning (uncapped bonuses) projected at least to £37k per annum; fully expensed travel, pension, parking, and holiday entitlement of 22 days + bank and statutory holidays.
