Teaching Personnel is working with a welcoming primary school near Bridport that is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child who requires additional support throughout the school day.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, during term time - ideal for someone seeking a rewarding, long-term position where they can make a real difference.

The role involves:

Providing consistent 1:1 support to a child with SEN (social, emotional, or communication needs)
Supporting learning and emotional regulation
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals
Adapting learning activities to suit the child's individual needs
Creating a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
We're looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children with additional needs (in school or alternative settings)
Is patient, empathetic, and proactive
Can build strong relationships and communicate effectively with children and staff
Is committed to supporting inclusive education
