The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple have an exciting opportunity for a Gardener to join their dedicated team.

Location: London, EC4Y 9BT

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 gross per annum (Pro rata)

Job Type: Part-time, Permanent

Working Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm, 4 days per week.

About Middle Temple:

As one of the four Inns of Court, we are proud to provide support, education and accommodation to barristers at every stage of their careers. Middle Temple Gardens date from the 13th Century and comprise of a number of courtyards and a main garden and include a vegetable growing area and glasshouse. The gardens are enjoyed by Members of the Inn and residents, for commercial events and at specified times they are open to the public.

Gardener – The Role:

You will be involved in all tasks from planting and pruning to litter picking, seed sowing and propagation and lawn care. This is a small team, and you will be working closely with Head Gardener.

Gardener – You:

- Experience working in a large garden.

- Good knowledge and interest of plant health and pest and diseases.

- You will need to be confident working independently whilst able to supervise other assistants in the garden such as volunteers and liaise with outside contractors.
