Field based role - multiple UK locations available - Midlands, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool

GI Group are working on a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a well-established provider of Private Healthcare Insurance.

The opportunity

We are looking for people who have experience in the Private Healthcare Insurance market that would ideally be from a Sales/Business Development/Account Manager background but equally so, experience in the industry generally, with an interest and an ability to transfer experience to a sales role would also be considered.

The role requires you to increase sales by generating leads and winning new business and further develop business with existing customers and clients.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Experience

• Insurance experience

• Proven track record in Sales

Knowledge

• Understanding of the FCA

• Certificate Institute of Insurance (desirable)

• Certificate of Institute of Marketing (desirable)

• Understanding of the Financial Ombudsmen Services

• Knowledge of Data Protection

Skills and Ability

• Meet work Targets

• Excellent communication skills

• Forms positive working relationships with colleagues

• Works as part of a team and can remain positive

• Can organise priorities and self-motivate

• Ability to record work accurately

• Write and prepare reports and other correspondence effectively

• Understand and maintain confidentiality

• Problem solving and decision making ability

• Good Microsoft Office Skills
