Hours: 24/7 Shift Pattern - 4 On 4 Off (12-hour Shifts: 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am)

We're recruiting 4 x Electrical Shift Engineers to join a newly built, state-of-the-art corporate office building in Moorgate, Central London. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the project from the ground up.

The site is due for full completion by December 2025, with commissioning and installation underway now. You'll play a key role during this phase, supporting the installation team, supervising contractors, and gaining an in-depth understanding of all on-site equipment and systems.

The Role

As an Electrical Shift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Supervising contractor works during commissioning and installation

Monitoring and maintaining critical building services systems

*

Responding to electrical and mechanical faults and PPMs

*

Managing the building's systems during night shifts as the sole onsite engineer

*

Working closely with the site manager and supervisor during day shifts

Shift Pattern

*

4 on / 4 off - rotating days and nights

*

12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00)

*

Overtime paid at x1.5

*

20 shift days of annual leave

Ideal Candidate

*

Recognised electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent)

*

Experience in building services / critical environments

*

Confident working independently, particularly on night shifts

*

Strong understanding of HVAC, BMS, and electrical distribution systems

*

Familiarity with supervising contractors and managing commissioning processes is advantageous
