Social Value Lead
Location: Oxford (within approx. 1-hour commute) | Hybrid, flexible working
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Our client is a values-led organisation delivering real, measurable impact across communities through purpose-driven commercial initiatives. They're now looking for a Social Value Lead — someone who can combine strategic thinking with a passion for people, to shape and grow their social value presence across projects, partnerships, and communities.

✨ The Role

As Social Value Lead, you'll act as the bridge between business and community — developing partnerships with schools, colleges, charities, and other local organisations to amplify the social impact offering. This is a strategic role that blends delivery with storytelling: you'll embed social value into tenders and contracts while also celebrating success through internal and external comms.

Whether you come from a social value background or bring transferrable experience from community engagement, CSR, or similar people-centred work — this is an opportunity to help shape something with real purpose.

💼 What You'll Be Doing

*

Build and sustain partnerships with local education providers, charities, and community groups.

*

Lead social value initiatives across the business and externally, with clear, measurable outcomes.

*

Work closely with project and commercial teams to integrate social value into contracts and growth strategies.

*

Create frameworks for reporting and evaluating impact, ensuring outcomes are clearly tracked and articulated.

*

Collaborate with marketing and communications to showcase achievements and share meaningful stories.

👀 Who We're Looking For

*

Strong relationship-builder with a natural ability to engage and influence.

*

Experience working on social value programmes — or a genuine passion and aptitude to grow into the space.

*

Skilled in stakeholder engagement, both internally and externally.

*

Confident presenting impact through data, storytelling, or reports.

*

Organised, proactive, and collaborative in approach.

If you're looking for a role where you can drive positive change while aligning with commercial goals, we'd love to hear from you
