Field Service Engineer - Food & Beverage Machinery

This well-established international business is renowned for its innovation, customer focus, and investment in employee development. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Field Service Engineer to their UK team.

Location & Travel:

Applicants will Ideally be based in the Midlands, North West, or Yorkshire regions where there's a high concentration of customers. However, the flexibility to travel throughout the UK and Ireland - including occasional overnight stays - is essential.

The Role:

You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and installation of high-speed packaging and processing machinery at customer sites across the UK and Ireland.

* Servicing and maintaining high-speed production & packaging machinery

* Responding promptly to breakdowns and technical issues

* Performing mechanical and electrical setups

* Assisting with machine installations and modifications

* Troubleshooting and fault-finding (mechanical/electrical)

* Delivering customer training on equipment use

* Managing parts stock and maintaining technical documentation

* Identifying areas for process and performance improvements

What You'll Need:

* Proven background in machinery maintenance, repair, and installation

* Multi-skilled with strong mechanical and electrical capabilities

* Sound knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

* Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings

* PLC experience is a bonus, but not essential

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* A full UK driving licence is required
