Description

• Oversee and lead an established payroll function.
• Manage any system or process improvement.
• Strategic involvement and effective decision making that promotes continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement efficient payroll processes and procedures.
• Implement future benefits schemes
• Collaborate with the accounting and finance department on payroll-related activities.
• Handle payroll reporting, including tax filings and statutory requirements.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee queries professionally.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes impacting payroll.
• Provide leadership and development opportunities for the payroll team.

Profile

A successful Head of Payroll should have:

• Proven experience in Head of Payroll, Senior Payroll or Payroll Manager position
• Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland Payroll Regulations
• Passion for continuous improvement and people management
• Proficiency in payroll software and relevant systems.
• Ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Enjoys working in a fast paced working environment
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Job Offer

• Competitive salary ranging from £65,000 to £75,000 per annum.
