RSW are looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager with our client, a food manufacturer. Initially, the role will be based in Gloucester for the first 6 weeks then will then move to Pontypool for the opening of a brand new site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a small team in a food manufacturing environment. My client will consider experienced Warehouse Supervisors with a food background that are looking to move into a managerial position.

Job role:

As the Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing warehouse

operations, including receiving raw materials, shipments of products, storing and

managing inventory and dispatching goods to customers and end-users.

· Making improvements to storage and organising new storage solutions.

Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics.

Check orders after picking for accuracy advising warehouse staff of any errors to

minimise future discrepancies.

Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing H&S

standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.

Essential skills and qualifications:

Five or more years of experience in warehouse management

Experience in a food manufacturing or food warehousing environment

Strong people management skills

Excellent problem-solving skills & able to think outside the box

A strong understanding of Health & Safety in a Food based environment

IT and Microsoft office package skills
