Role: Branch Manager

Salary: £45,000 - £49,000 (dependent on experience) plus car and bonus, Mon - Fri Only

Our client is a well-respected and long-established distributor of construction supplies / building materials. Their branch is in the Newquay area and requires a new Branch Manager. This is a busy site and it needs someone to keep it going in the right direction. An all-rounder is required ideally with good stock management skills, buying experience and an understanding of how a well-run branch should function. Most importantly, you must have demonstrable experience in both sales and operations but also this is a 'muck-in' kind of environment so if you like to sit in a back office all day then this role isn't for you!

This role requires a special someone - ideally someone with strong management or supervisory experience. This person must be currently working in the builder's merchant's / construction supply sector and have a proven background of success. You should be a person that people will want to deal with and be led by.

The right person should have a drive to collectively always maximise potential. You will need the right blend of sales drive with strong operational skills and experience. A good all-rounder who can guide on all aspects of the business and assist the team where necessary.

This is an important role for the company, the money on offer hopefully reflects this and long-term progression is monitored.
