Our Client, St. Helens council is seeking a Children’s Senior Social Worker to join their LAC Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

• Support the safety, wellbeing, and development of Looked After Children.
• Contribute to care planning and attend multi-agency meetings.
• Advocate for children’s rights and ensure their voices are heard.
• Promote health and emotional wellbeing through appropriate referrals and support.
• Liaise with schools and professionals to support education and progress.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory duties.
• Build effective relationships with carers, professionals, and external agencies.
• Participate in service improvement and development initiatives.

Requirements of this role:

• Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
• Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
