Site Managers - Multi-Floor CAT A Fit-Out

* Location: Newcastle

* Day Rate: £250 to £275 (CIS)

* Start: 8th September

* End: 22nd December

We are seeking experienced Site Managers to oversee the delivery of individual floors on a high-spec CAT A fit-out project in Newcastle. Each floor has its own dedicated Site Manager, reporting into the overall Project Manager who is coordinating the full programme.

The project includes:

* 4th Floor: CAT A fit-out

* Ground Floor North: Gym and wellness suite

* Ground Floor South: Office spaces

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a prestigious commercial fit-out scheme with a strong, supportive project team.

Key Responsibilities

* Day-to-day site supervision of subcontractors and trades on your allocated floor

* Ensure works are carried out safely, to specification and in line with the agreed programme

* Conduct site inductions, review RAMS and maintain site safety compliance

* Chair daily or weekly briefings with subcontractors and ensure effective communication across all parties

* Coordinate deliveries, logistics and access requirements for your floor

* Undertake interim snagging, quality checks and reporting

* Keep accurate records of progress, site diaries and photographs

* Report progress, risks and issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out or refurbishment projects

* Essential certifications: SMSTS, CSCS Black Card or Gold Card, First Aid

* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, health and safety, and quality standards

* Ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages simultaneously

* Confident in reading drawings and identifying any design or coordination issues

* Good organisational and communication skills

* Proficiency in MS Office or similar site management software is beneficial
