A globally high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their manufacturing department with the appointment of a Manufacturing Engineer.

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will ensure all manufacturing requirements are communicated in detail through the relevant departments and provide support throughout the organisation.

Working from their manufacturing facility in Warwickshire, the Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:

* Fault finding/repair of process plant and equipment

* Identifying and implementing ongoing process improvements

* Training of nominated employees involved in heat treatment processes

* Compiling and issuing technical reports

* Technical support to other group companies

* Responsible for the planning, designing and implementing of process related productivity and cost saving projects

* Development of new processes (vacuum sintering etc.)

* Emergency cover for all heat treatment plant

* Ensure Furnace safety system testing and reporting as per company operating procedures

* Complete SAP planning sheet enquiries

* Support process FMEA development and maintain suitable updates

* Responsibility for developing, documenting and sustaining standard operating procedures (SOP) for all Process related equipment across site.

* Organizing, ordering and control of process related spares

* Provide audit support across all shifts when required in support of current company audit programs

The successful candidate should be educated to degree level in engineering or HNC/HND.

You should be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in current production and new product introduction.

You should have at least 2-3 years experience within the Manufacturing industry, excellent communication skills as this role will be the direct interface between manufacturing and the client.
