Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 a year (pro rata for 4-day week)

Location:  Tunbridge Wells

5 days a week or 4 days a week (4 condensed days or split over 5 days)

Our client is hiring a Finance Administrator to join its growing team!

Are you detail-oriented, confident with numbers, and looking for a varied role in finance and administration?  This is a fantastic opportunity to support both the Finance and Operations teams in a friendly, modern office with great benefits and flexibility.

About the Role

This role is split approximately 80% finance tasks and 20% operational support. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and Operations Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day processes and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Finance (80%)

  • Raise monthly invoices (inbound and outbound) and review timesheets and Purchase Orders
  • Liaise with contractors regarding payment schedules and invoicing queries
  • Support the Finance Manager with financial records (new deals, commissions, extensions)
  • Chase clients for Purchase Orders and log them for invoicing
  • Become the go-to person for our timesheet system
  • Assist with general banking tasks

Contracts & Administration (20%)

  • Help onboard new contractors (including compliance checks and reference requests)
  • Send contracts to contractors and clients via AdobeSign
  • Track and chase contract signatures
  • Coordinate with Sales Consultants on onboarding and compliance issues
  • Handle GDPR requests and contractor offboarding

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a finance or accounts administration role
  • High attention to detail and strong written/verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word (essential)
  • Experience using accounting software and dealing with foreign currencies (a plus)
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills
  • Proactive and able to use initiative

Working Hours

  • Full-time (5 days/week) or Part-time (4 days/week)
  • 4 days can be condensed into 4 longer days or spread across 5 shorter days
  • Office-based with hybrid working available after probation
