M-Tec Engineering is working with a market leading manufacturer who are looking to recruit a Night Shift Production Manager who will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met throughout the night shift.

As Night Shift Production Manager you will be responsible for up to 40 members of staff

The Night Shift Production Manager will be responsible for:

*Ensuring Production Supervisors are working efficiently as per instructions issued and coordinate/implement improvement activities using lean techniques

*Ensuring team KPI's are hit and that paperwork is completed correctly and on time by all Production Supervisors, e.g. Production sheets and setting sheets.

*Control labour efficiency and manufacturing output; Efficiencies, Scrap Control and Management of housekeeping

*Approve holidays and ensure there is adequate cover at all times, including weekends and shutdowns.

*Measure and monitor accurate timekeeping & attendance records together with labour & training requirements with you team

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset and qualifications:

*Management experience in a fast past manufacturing environment

*ILM Level 3 Management.

*Preferably from a Manufacturing background

*Must be able to communicate at all levels within the organisation and externally, including customers

*Able to manage and motivate a team.

*Good role model to Supervisors/Team Leaders and Operators
