GBA Services is a family business, providing logistic solutions for our customers whether that be by road, sea or ; We are currently located in 18 sites throughout the UK and Europe.
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Account Manager with Brokerage experience to join our growing business and manage key customer accounts as well as nurture and develop future accounts .
You will be responsible for managing new and existing customer accounts and be an excellent role model in how you look after and liaise with our customers, both internal and external.
You will have responsibility for increasing profitability, customer service and developing existing and new relationships with customers and subcontractors, focusing on the UK National trailer and van market.
You will be required to create processes and implement these throughout GBA in relation to both import and export loads as well as full trailer load carrier management .
The successful candidate must have previous experience in working within the Logistics sector and must be experienced in providing transport quotes and negotiating costs with carriers.
This is an exciting, challenging and demanding role and you will need to be able to multitask, prioritise your own workload and communicate effectively.
We use a range of Microsoft products throughout the business, so a good working knowledge is definitely an advantage.
