Hotel Financial Controller job in Manchester, Job Examples:

• Ensure the accuracy of reports and financial accounts. Ensure all assets are accounted for & managed within the policies of the company & the owners.
• Liaise with the Revenue Manager & Sales team to determine the yield strategy of the hotel. Monitors the correct billing of revenues, cash control, float balances and credit balances of guest in house.
• Implement and maintain accounting control procedures as required by the company.
• Manages and ensures accurate control systems are in place for Sales Ledger, Inventories, Cashiers & other floats, bank deposits, reconciliations and movement of funds, outgoing & incoming cheques, payroll, foreign currency exchange, cashier overages/shortages.
• Submits accurate reports within the agreed timescale ie: Daily and weekly reports, weekly controller report to Management Company, Rolling forecast, monthly P & L accounts, audited year end accounts, annual budget pack, internal audit commentary reply.
