Are you an Administrator looking to work in a well-established award-winning internationally operating manufacturing company in Standish? Due to growth the company is now expanding their team. Your main function will be responsible for day-to-day movement of all materials despatched, transport and all other relevant documentation. The role also includes aspects of order preparation between job functions and normal administrative duties; reports, filling, answering phone calls and e-mails you will be required to work between the Standish and Pemberton site. Hours Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 4.00 pm with a salary of £22,300 - £22,600 (37.5 hours per week).

Administrator Duties:

  • To accurately complete all necessary documentation within set deadlines.
  • Preparation of orders for dispatch and other customer specific requirements, i.e., quality certificates, label requirements.
  • Internal and external call handling.
  • Provide stock movement information when required.
  • Provide goods inwards labels for all inbound raw materials.
  • Accurate allocation of finished products to sales orders by batch number.
  • Printing of batch sheets and MI’s for production.
  • Assist in inputting stock movements and receiving goods onto the Tropos.
  • Liaising with production, warehouse, planning, purchasing and sales.
  • Order transport as required and liaise with freight forwarders and other company carriers.
  • Produce certificates of analysis (CofA’s) from both Tropos system and manual templates and check and e-mail to customers prior to despatch
  • Book and arrange transfers of material from Pemberton to Standish site.
  • The appropriate retention and adequate upkeep of required records and documentation.
  • Follow up order status and reporting of any problems or delays.
  • Provide proof of delivery and copy invoices.
  • Update customer contract details.
  • Producing Dangerous Goods Notes for Export purposes.
  • Liaising with production and warehouse.
  • Carrying out other administrative duties as required.

Administrator Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar role in Administration, training on company products will be given.
  • An NVQ Level 2 Business Administration is desirable, however, previous work-based experience will be considered.
  • Required high attention to detail, good organisational skillset, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst prioritising workloads.
  • You will need to be numerate, have good problem-solving skills with excellent communication both written and verbal, willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, Excel, and Word is required as there is a high level of data entry in the position.
  • You must be able to build relationship and maintain customer service.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and targets required.
