Assistant Engineer - South Gloucestershire Council

I am currently representing South Gloucestershire Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate of which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer (Structures) based at: BS37 5AF

Key Accountabilities:

Support Inspections & Maintenance: Assist in planning and conducting inspections, assessments, and maintenance of bridges, culverts, and other highway structures.

Design & Technical Support: Contribute to the preparation of design work, technical drawings, and reports for structural repairs, strengthening, or new schemes.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all activities follow health and safety regulations, design standards (e.g. DMRB), and local authority or national guidelin

Requirements:

Experience of Local Authority only
